Voting law changes would require citizenship proof in Texas
Illegal aliens are costing us millions of dollars each year. We give them FREE medical care, FREE welfare, and a FREE education (while “dumbing down” American kids to do so). They bring disease and drugs into OUR country, they rape and murder our citizens, and they disrespect our laws, our language, and our flag. BROWNSVILLE - Proposed changes in the state’s voting laws would require everyone to prove their citizenship in order to vote in local, state and national elections.
During the coming legislative session, Texas Republicans plan to introduce a measure that would target perpetrators of voter fraud, especially non-citizens. The stringent voting regulations - deemed the “voter suppression bill” by opponents - are already being discussed by Texas state representatives.
On Friday, members of the House’s elections committee met at the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College to take testimony related to voting reform.
