Hispanics upset with Democratic Party & Kay Barnes? So what, I’m upset with any Hispanic who illegally enters this country
I continue to wonder why some “legal” American Hispanics are “upset” about anything depicting illegal aliens crawling across a fence to come into this country - by God, that’s what they are doing! Don’t some, not all, American Hispanics realize that illegal immigration is hurting them just as bad as it’s hurting all Americans? If you pay taxes in this country, illegal immigration is hurting you, no matter who you are! (See story below.)
Kansas City Star - There’s been some rumblings lately in political circles and on local blogs that a Democratic mailer critical of U.S. Rep. Sam Graves’ record on immigration may backfire on his Democratic challenger, Kay Barnes.
Earlier this week, Kansas City Councilwoman Beth Gottstein sent a note to Ken Franklin, executive director of the Missouri Democratic Party, and John Temporiti, chairman of the state party, to complain about the ad sent out last month. Barnes and Graves are vying for Missouri’s 6th District congressional seat, covering Clay, Platte and northeastern Jackson counties, along with northwest Missouri.
