Barletta wins GOP and Dem nominations for Hazleton mayor
The overwhelming support for Mayor Lou Barletta is just another example of how the majority of Americans feel about illegal-immigration. (See story below.) It’s a damn shame that more of our cities don’t follow the example set by Hazleton, Pa. and Farmers Branch, Tex.
HAZLETON, PA. – Mayor Lou Barletta apparently won’t have to worry about a battle against his former political foe – Mike Marsicano – in the general election in November.
Not only did Barletta win the Republican nomination to serve a third term on Tuesday, he won the Democratic nomination through a write in campaign as well, according to unofficial results.
Barletta easily defeated government watchdog Dee Deakos on the Republican ticket.

Barletta seems to be a bright and gifted young man who is no doubt very well thought of by the folks in Hazleton, Pa. - I applaud his efforts to fight the illegal-alien invasion.
